Creamy Coleslaw Dressing - with a little kick
Recipe type: Salads
  • 1 head green cabbage, finely shredded (or use 2 12-oz bags of shredded slaw from the grocery)
  • 2 large carrots, finely shredded
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tablespoons grated yellow or white onion
  • 2 Tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons white or cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon dried mustard powder
  • 2 teaspoons celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Put cabbage and carrots into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk the remainder of the ingredients in bowl to make the dressing.
  3. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss to gently coat. Correct seasoning and serve.
If you're not going to serve immediately, store the dressing and cabbage separately in the refrigerator, and toss just before serving.
